Itinerary on Details:-
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02 : Kathmandu
Visit Pashupatinath Hindu temple, Boudhanth stupa, Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 03 : Drive or fly to Pokhara
About 6 hours by overland or 35 minutes by flight. Overnight hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04 : Pokhara-Nayapul- Tikedhunga (1531m)
About one hrs drive to Nayapul and start trekking to Tikedhunga about 4 hrs. The trail follows the bank of rivers, rice filed and local villages.
Day 05 : Tikedhunga - Ghorepani (2856m)
Trail goes steep to ulleri and easy up to bhanthati village.banthati to ghorepani is green rhododendron forest to Ghorepani.
Day 06 : Ghorepani-Ghandruk (1915m).
Just about 45 minutes climb to Pun Hill from where you can enjoy special view of about 13 snow capped mountains including Dhaualagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8091m) and trek to Ghandruk Village. walk through the forest of rhododendron via Tadapani. about 6 to 7 hrs.
Day 07 : Ghandruk-Pokhara (915m)
we walk about 4 to 5 hours downhill then reach Nayapul, from there we drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08 : Pokhara-Chitwan
Drive to Chitwan 5 hrs and you will have lunch, after you will visit Tharu village and National Park's visitors' center. Sun set view from the riverbank .
Day 09: Canoe ride along the Rapti river.for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles, Plus Jungle walk and on the way back one can enjoy the elephant bathing.Elephant Safari to see four different kinds of deer, rhino, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal Tiger.Tharu Cultural Dance.
Day 10 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
Elephant Breeding Centre and Drive to Kathmandu 5 to 6 hrs and over night in Hotel.
Day 11 : Transfer to airport for departure. |
The trail start at Nayapul, on the road from pokhara to Baglung, and flowing the jomsom trail for the first two days, with over night stop inTikedhunga and Ghorepani.on the day three most people leave before down for the hike to poon hill in the morning and descent to hill to Ghandrunk, a acenic village of stone and stat houses with a colorful Buddhist monastery. the final day easy decent to Nayapul and transport to pokhara.
