Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit of 2000 years old Swayambhunath Stupa, old royal palace and historic temples in Durbar Sqaure area. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02 : Kathmandu
AM Visit Pashupatinath- the most venerated Hindu temple of Nepal and Boudhanth, the biggest Buddhist stupa architecture of the world. PM Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Patan -the medire view principalities of Kathmandu valley. You will visit old royal palaces, temples, stupas, and monasteries then see lots of intricate wood and stone works. In the late afternoon, drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 03 : Drive or fly to Pokhara
AM Leave for Pokhara, 6 hours by overland or 35 minutes by flight.PM Sightseeing of caves, water fall, temple and bazaars of Pokhara. Overnight hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04 : Pokhara-Birethanti- Ulleri
Drive to Birethanti and start trekking. The trail follows the bank of rivers and rivulets and same time we will be enjoying the view of the mountains. After 4-5 hours walk we reach at Ulleri (1800m). Overnight in lodge or tent.
Day 05 : Ulleri - Ghorepani
After 3-4 hours walk we reach at Ghorepani (2860m).Just about half hours climb, there is a hill famous by the name of Pun Hill from where you can enjoy special view of about 13 snow capped mountains including Dhaualagiri (8167m) and Annapurna massif. Here, you will feel like you have been embraced by the Himalayas. Overnight in lodge or tent in Ghorepani
Day 06 : Ghorepani-Ghandruk
we walk through the forest of rhododendron trees down to Tadapani and reach a nice Gurung village of Ghandruk (2000m). From here you can see Machapuchare, Hiunchuli and Annapurna south. Overnight in lodge or tent in Ghandruk.
Day 07 : Ghandruk-Pokhara
we walk about 5hours downhill then reach Birethanti, from there we drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08 : Pokhara-Chitwan
AM drive about 5 hours to Chitwan National Park.PM after lunch in the resort, one hour long elephant safari program. In the evening, a surprise may be dancing program performed by Tharu tribal men. Overnight in the bungalow.
Day 09 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
AM one hour long bird watching trip in the early morning. After breakfast, Drive to Kathmandu Over night hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 10 : Transfer to airport for departure. |
