  Trishuli River Rafting in Nepal

Duration: 1 -3 Days
Rafting on Trisuli River, which is class two and class three Rapid
The Trisuli (Grade 3+) is Nepal's most popular rafting river, with impressive gorges, exciting rapids, some easier sections, and easy access from both Kathmandu and Pokhara. The Trisuli trip is fun, and is safe for all age groups. Our 1-3 days  trips, which can be an extension of the trek, will overnight at Trisuli River Retreat, our private camp with comfortable safari-tented accommodation set in private grounds. There are fine river views and the site is surrounded by forest. The river is recommended for intermediate kayakers, but most guests prefer cruising down the rushing river in an inflatable rubber raft for the excitement of a lifetime. A rafting trip is bound to be the highlight of your stay in the country.

The Trisuli, although not the most inspiring river for rafting in Nepal, is very much popular several reasons-it is close to Kathmandu and for a cheap bus ride you can be on the river in hours if a warm-up is what you need on arrival in Nepal. The major road running alongside it is, for most people, a down marker. It does however provide easy access to transport and villages along the way. For a family trip it provides a less serious and committing adventure than many of the other rivers.

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Charaudi, 2 or 3 hours by bus. Your rafting starts after your guide has told you about the trip and the necessary safety features. There are many rapids on this section of the river making it exceptionally good for white water rafting. After about two hours rafting we stop for lunch, then continue, reaching our camp at Kurintar.

Day 02 : More rafting, both before and after lunch, eventually reaching Pachkilo where you will be picked up.
You can now either return to Kathmandu, or continue trip to the Royal Chitwan National Park, jungle safari, visiting a typical Tharu village and an elephant breeding station on the way.
