 We
would like to thank you for a trip of a lifetime. You
provided us all our dreams and much more. We not only
had a great time, but knew we were safe in your hands
from the time you picked us up from the airport to the
time you dropped us off. You are professional, eager
and enthusiastic. In addition, you hire professional

Lila had arranged the trail perfectly : everything we
asked for, a custom-made trip.
Whether it was possible to make a teahouse trekking to
the Gosainkunda-lakes en the Langtang-valley, followed
by a tent-trekking to Paldor Base Camp and the Tiru
Danda?
No problem. And the price turned out to be very
reasonable as well.
Lakpa Sherpa was our guide for over 3 weeks. He seemed
to know every path and every mountain. We always got the
most beautiful rooms (the rooms with a view) in the best
lodges.
And with Sandjib Gurung, our young porter, we always had
fun.
During the first week we had amazing views of the
Himalaya, from the Annapurnas, over the Manaslu and the
Ganesh Himal to Langtang. From our room, we could even
enjoy the sunset and sunrise in this magnificent
landscape.
During the following week, we hiked through the Langtang-valley
to Kianjing Gompa. There we climbed the 5000m high
Tsergo Ri. The next morning, we walked into the desert
valley, up to Langisha Karka. That were fantastic days.
Week 3 : the tent-trekking with a staff of 11 people
(for just the two of us!).
They prepared delicious food and we slept in excellent
Swiss Vaude-tents.
Unfortunately, Jan fell during a hike and dislocated his
shoulder. The helicopter-rescue was arranged as quick as
possible. Lila even joined the helicopter to pick us up.
He took care of everything in the hospital, and later on
in the hotel. (Again 1000times thanks)
This was our second trip to Nepal. Again, we enjoyed the
most splendid mountain-views and the nicest people in
the world. We'll be back!
And another certitude : Trip Himalaya, a real must !
We came as customers, we left as friends.

Namaste Lila,
Thank you for the nice email. At the moment we are in
Delhi. Yesterday we visited the Taj Mahal, which was
really nice.
We both had a fantastic stay in Nepal, partly because of
your excellent organization!!! We really enjoyed all the
activities and trekking and definitely would like to
come back one day in the future. The trek in Annapurna
was really great. We were lucky with the weather and had
some fantastic views!! India is a lot more crazy, we
wish we were back in Nepal again!!!
We posted some new photos on our website, so if you have
some time after the trekking you can have a look. Maybe
some other people will have a look at our website as
well and hopefully also read about Trip Himalaya.
Anyways, thank you very much again for everything and
hopefully we meet again in the future....

was a great honor for me to climb Mont Blanc with Mr.
Lila Gurung.
A dream came true and without Lila, I would never be on
the summit.
He's a very experienced guide for climbing and always
works in very save conditions.

Hi Lila,
 We had the most fantastic time in Nepal and cannot wait to come back! Lakpa and Umesh were great, we had lots and lots of fun with them and even learnt some Nepali. Pani puri most of all. ABC was incredible, totally amazing. And we were so lucky to have snow over night - it was perfect. all was white and blue sky. The walking down was the hardest bit, my knees were aching.
Chitwan was superb and we had so much fun on the elephants. The hotel in Chitwan was excellent.
We saw monkeys, deer, rhinos and crocodiles in Chitwan. We loved Nepal, the people were so friendly and nice the countryside so varied. I was particularly keen in the flora and noticed lots of plants that I know from home. Overall we have had one of the best holidays I can remember. When I close my eyes, I have lots and lots of images of Nepal in front of me - wonderful.
Once we have developed our pictures I will send some to you.
We will come back for more, hopefully soon.
Thank you so much for organising everything - it was perfect!

Hi Lila. Namaste
We arrived back in London safely at about 6.30 am UK
time. The flight was fine, just very long.
We had a fantastic time in Nepal and would all like
to thank you very much for arranging everything. It
all went very smoothly. The accommodation and food was
much better than I had been led to believe, and the
scenery both on the trek and at Chitwan was spectacular.
I would not hesitate to recommend Trip Himalaya to any
of my friends as I think that the flexibility of the
itinerary, the small groups that you are willing to
take, and of course the very personal interest that
you take in your groups, made the trip special –
some things that we would not have experienced had we
chosen to go with a big UK company such as Exodus.
Phil and I have downloaded our pictures this morning
and are now in the process of combining them so that
they are all in the right order. When we have done this,
and some editing, we will send you a copy.
I will also email Richard and thank him for his recommendation.
