Dolpo TrekkingThe trek to phoksundo Lake has been made much more practical since the construction of the new trail up suli Gaat from its confluence with the Thulo Bheri.There are not a lot of camping places, and there are lodges only in Chapka and Ringmo,but the trek has some lovely forest walk,phoksundo Lake is dramatic, and the region contains a tiny pocket of the unusual Bon-po culture. The Lake is within shey phoksundo national park, which was established in 1981.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01 : pick up from the Int'l Airport, transfer to Hotel & well come diner.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley with Guide.
Day 03 : flight to Nepalgunj and over night in Hotel.
Day 04 : Flight to Juphal and Trek to Dunai (2050m).
Day 05 : Dunai to Chepka (2627m).
Day 06 : Chepka to Renje (3010m).
Day 07 : Renje to Phoksundo Lake (3728m).
Day 08 : Rest in Phoksundo Lake & Visit Mansatry, Ringmo Village etc.
Day 09 : Trek Back to Chepka.
Day 10 : Trek to Dunai.
Day 11 : Flight Back to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu.
Day 12 : Free day in Kathmandu/shopping.
Day 13 : Transfer to International Airport and fly home.

Note. also you can do continues trek to upper Dolpo or cross over Bagala pass and Numala pass and Trek down via Do Trap to Dunai.
