Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking |
|
| |
This trek goes into the centre of the Annapurna Range, a magnificent amphitheatre on a staggering scale. Glaciers and soaring peak and an eerie atmosphere create an unparalleled mountain experience.
At on time this trek was a real expedition into a wilderness area, but now there is a string of lodge that operates during the trekking season. The return trip can take as little as 10 or 11 days but it’s best appreciated in 14 days. The walk to the best camp can be tacked on as site trip from the Jomson and Annpurna circuit treks. There are several possible routes to the sanctuary, all meeting at Chomorang. The diversion from the Jomson and Annpurna circuit treks is made from near Ghorapani to Ghandruk.
Making use the regular Bus or private transportations from pokhara Baglung and getting off in Nayapul, you will trek along the Modi Khola to Birethati and climb to the Ghorepani pass from the look out of the poon hill, and you will enjoy the panoramic view of the Annapurna Himal, Gurja, Tilicho peak and Dhaulagiri Himal, then you will decent to The Ghandrung, Landruk move on Dhampus, and return to Pokhara.
Also this trek is most popular for Rhododendrons flowers. Its bloom in April and May. You will meet various trible groups such as the Braman, chetri, Magear, Gurung and Thakali. This is more luxury and easy trip in annapurna region. Since there is lodge and light in these villages, you will be able to enjoy fellowship with the villages. What is good is that there is no need to worry about altitude sickness.
Arter trekking your trip continuse to Chitwan National
Park, to see more whildlife, also you can enjoy white
water rafting on Trisuli River. |
