Annapurna North Base Camp trek is a hidden base camp trek. It is a newly opened base camp trek, it is not as popular as the South base camp, because it is newly opened, and many people have not yet visited there. Annapurna North Base trekking trail (4190m) is yet to be well-explored despite its brilliant history. On 3 June 1950, French mountaineers Maurice Herzog and his colleague Louis Lachenal reached the top of Annapurna I, being the first climbers in modern history to climb a peak over 8,000 m. After this expedition, the route couldn’t become popular. It is also a normal climbing route for Annapurna (I). ABC which is South Base Camp (which is very popular now) but the people who climbed Annapurna (I) for the first time, they settled base Camp on this Annapurna North Base Camp, and they climbed North Face of Annapurna.
There are many major attractions on this trek. The view from ANBC is Annapurna 1, Tiliche, Nigiri and Baraha Shikhar could be witnessed during the trekking 360-degree mountain view at base camp. Which makes hikers speechless. Also Tranquil Narchyang Lake at base camp is frozen at night and in the morning when the temperature comes down during winter season, Hot springs, glaciers, waterfalls and caves also make this route majestic.Dense Rhododendron flowers also are an added attraction. Suspension bridges, stone steps and mountain terrain also are the parts of this route. Magar culture at Lower and Upper Narchyang is an enjoyable fragment of this route. Wild lives like Himalayan monal, Musk Himalayan thars, Himalayan ghorals, musk deer, snow leopards, blue sheep, bears and wild dogs are the prime attractions of the route.
