Best Time to Visit in Nepal

Since Nepal is a country of diversification with its geography and climate, a nature lover can always make it as his destination of trekking year round. There are normally four seasons are considered in Nepal, each of which has its own particular attraction to offer.

Autumn (September-October and November):
The best season offering excellent weather and out standing mountain views.

Spring (March-April and May):
The second finest trekking season. The temperature is quite moderate, especially the rhododendrons are in complete blossom and the mountain views are excellent.

Summer (June- July and August):
This is the most preferable season to trek in the rain shadow areas like Upper Mustang, Upper Manang and Upper Dolpo. These places are out of reach of the rain clouds because of the huge mountains and are unaffected by the monsoon. This season is also recommended for forest researchers and botanist. Warning-raincoats and insect repellents are strictly necessary in this period.

Winter (December- January and February):
suitable season for trekking at lower altitude, generally below 3, 000 to 4, 000m.

Best Season for Peak Climbing and expedition:
Nepal is Himalaya Kingdom and Many Mountain over (6000) m to (8850m) Mt. Everest which is Highest Mountain in the world. Autumn (September -October and November):

Best Season for Peak Climbing:
The best season for Trekking Peak climbing which is above 5600 m till 6600m. But in August, September and on till second week of October, it is possible to do High Mountain Expedition as well.

Best Season for expedition:
Spring (March-April and May): The Best Time for High Mountain Expedition.
Summer (June- July): This month's are not good for climbing.
Winter (December- January- February): This month's also not good for Climbing.

Best Season for Mountain Biking in Nepal.
September and October is the best time for Biking in Nepal for the High pass.
