Canyoning in Nepal is frequently done in remote and rugged settings and often requires navigational, route-finding and other wilderness travel skills.
Canyons that is ideal for canyoning Trip is often cut into the bedrock stone, forming narrow gorges with numerous drops, beautifully sculpted walls, and sometimes spectacular waterfalls. Most canyons are cut into limestone, sandstone, granite or basalt, though other rock types are found. Canyons can be very easy or extremely difficult, though emphasis in the sport is usually on aesthetics and fun rather than pure difficulty. A wide variety of canyoning routes are found throughout the world and canyoning is enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels.
Canyoning gear includes climbing hardware, static ropes, helmets, wetsuits, and specially designed shoes, packs, and rope bags. While canyoners have used and adapted climbing, hiking, and river running gear for years, more and more specialized gear is invented and manufactured as canyoning popularity increases.
canyoning in Himalaya An amazing full body and mind experience that enables you to explore some of the last forbidden places in the abseiling, climbing, jumping, swimming and sliding down steep canyon walls and waterfalls to deep pools below, through intimate passages of contorted rock and powerful blasts of water. Having pioneered new canyons we continue to explore and the potential is phenomenal. As the pioneers of canyoning in Asia, we introduced this adventure sport to Nepal in 1996 and have been exploring these ruggedly beautiful, yet forbidden places since its inception. Canyons to suit your needs, from exploratory walks for school children to some of Nepal's most extreme environments.
Despite all the fun and games, this sport requires the guidance of an expert. Our instructors are experienced canyoneers and believe that the practice of safe canyoning necessitates the proper gear, continual vigilance and an excellent knowledge of these remarkable places.
