Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the best trekking destinations in the world. Solukhumbu is justifiably famous, not only for the world's highest mountain, but for its Sherpa villages and monasteries. The main goal of an Everest Trek is Base Camp at an elevation of about 5340m. But you cannot see Everest (Everest Trekking) from the Base Camp, though you will enjoy the view of the beautiful, and dangerous, Khumbu icefall, so trekkers must climb Kala Pattar a 5545m hump on the southern flank of Pumori (7145m) from where there is dramatic view of Everest, the Western Cwm and Lhotse Face.
Trekking in Everest Base Camp is One of the classic treks in Nepal, Everest base camp is most commonly visited as a two week trek starting and finishing at Lukla, the airport just to the south of Everest National park. During the trekking seasons there are numerous daily flights into and out of Lukla, weather permitting. The flight from Kathmandu, which takes around forty-five minutes, passes over the fertile middle hills, with their scattered villages and terraced fields, with an amazing panorama of the high Himalaya as a backdrop. Before long the mountains close in and you are sweeping down to land at the gateway to Everest-Lukla.

Kathmandu sightseeing. We will spend a couple of days sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley. The valley is the site of four ancient capitals with their attendant palaces, temples and squares, and the modern city's chaotic and fascinating streets, markets, shops and restaurants with intermingled Buddhist and Hindu temples. The streets can keep you occupied for days. OneDanney and Benethen in Bhaktapur night there will be a welcome dinner.
Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (about 35 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2612m) 4 hrs. Overnight in Lodge. This is easy way walk passing through pleasant Sherpa villages and with views of Kongde and Kusumkhangaru two of Nepal’s technical trekking peaks.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m) 6 hrs. Overnight in Lodge. Today you will cross the Dudh Koshi River several times after entering the Sagamatha National Park at Jorsale, where we will probably have lunch as there is no tea house between there and Namche Bazaar. Beyond Jorsale we cross a high bridge then climb steeply up to Namche Bazaar, a climb of about two hours. On this climb you need to go very slowly and to drink a lot. But you must also admire the view of the peaks of Thaserku, Kusumkhangaru, Khongde among others.
Acclimatization rest day in Namche Bazaar. We will make an excursion around Everest View Hotel, from where there is a spectacular view of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtenga, Thamaserku, Khunde and many more peaks.
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3870m) 6 hrs. Overnight in Lodge. On most treks we see Himalayan Thar, Danphe (the National Bird of Nepal) and Musk Deer along the trail. Lunch will be at Phunki Thanka, a small place, but at the lowest altitude of the day’s trek. At Phunki Thanka there are several water-driven prayer wheels. After lunch we tackle the steep path through forest, reaching the famous Tengboche monastery after about 2 hours.
