Outline Itinerary

Day 1: Arriving in Kathmandu
As you fly into Kathmandu, greenery of forests and snow-capped mountain peaks will greet you. On arrival, you will be picked up from the Tribhuvan International Airport and will escort you to your hotel and briefing with Guide.


Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and evening flight to Nepalgunj
Visiting different religious sites, Such as Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Bauddha stupa, a Tour guide will be with you and in the evening, a flight to Nepalgunj, a city in the western Terai near the Indian border and gateway to the Far West.

Day 3: Flight to Jumla 2381m & trek to CheraChaur
Flight to Jumla from Nepalgunj, a remote district in the Karnali zone of mid-Western Nepal, usually the starting point for treks to Rara Lake in Mugu. From this place, onwards, trekkers walk tough and uphill along with the different multiethnic towns to reach CheraChaur. It takes approximately 4hr from JumlaAiport.

Day 4: Trek to BumraMadiChaur
To the BurmraMadiChaur, it takes approximately 4-5 hours from CheraChaur. In the beginning, steeply climb up to DhapheLek around 600m elevation up and slide down to Khali Sim. The trail goes to a bit steep down till Neurighat and after the trail is flat to BumraMadiChaur. You can see a fantastic landscape and view of Patrasi mountain range from DhapheLek and on the trail cross the different cultures and people.

Day 5: Trek to BhulBhule
Trek to BhulBhule is the not hard trail and difficult. In most places, there is a jeep road already, and the path is a bit up and down the valley. This part of DolpaMugu trekking is not so exciting, but you can see local culture people and villages. Today we inter to Rara National park and have to cross the Army check post.

Day 6: Trek to Rara via GhurchiLek
Today will be a bit longer days, but if the weather is good, you can see a fantastic view from Ghurchi lake. Outstanding view of RaraLake and panoramic view of the mountain. Ghurchilek is one of the best viewpoints in the DolpaMugu trek of Rara Trekking. Today we will camp at the beach of RaraLek.

Day 7: Rest & Acclimatization
Rara Lake is a large lake in Nepal. Rara Lake is situated in a mountain at peace place and surrounded by jungle, and you can enjoy and relax the whole day here. You can hike to Murma top Viewpoint for amazing Rara lake view and landscape.

Day 8: Trek to Lumsa School
Today is an easy day. In the beginning, you have to slightly climb up an hour and climb down to Gamgadi, which is the district headquarter of Mugu. This is the last biggest city on this trekking. After the Gamgadi you will get a big market only at Dunai on the last day. After Gamgaldi trail continuously goes down till the river and starts jeep road to Lumsa School.

Day 9: Trek to PuluChaur
Today again, it is an easy day, you will walk in a jeep road flowing MuguKarnali River, slowly you will inter to Buddhist culture and Tibetan people. The trails gently climb up. We will camp a bit before from Pulu village. At Pulu, There is a police check post and the small market too.

Day 10: Trek to SiranChaur
We flow north bank of MuguiKarnali River to SiranChaur. The trail gently climbs up till to SiranChaur. We will cross one of the famous monasteries on the way, call TiharGumpa. SranChaur is the last settlement of the village next to Dolpa.

Day 11: Trek to ThangjyapChaur
Today mostly, we walk through the jungle, followed by ChhapaKhola. For a few days, there are no villages seen, and our treks start with mountain and high passes area. The trail is a bit narrow and bit tricky, too, but not bad. Mostly yak and cow used to walk this trail.

Day 12: Trek to TaklaKhola via Cyhyarko-La 5145m
Today we will start a bit earlier because of 5145m high pass. No more trees over here, though. We have to climb up to 1100m elevation and 1400m elevation down today, but we have beautiful mountain views and landscapes. We can see the KantiHimal range, Kanjiroba Range, and others from here.

Day 13: Trek to Marangthang
At the beginning steeply climb up to pass 4455m with beautiful landscape and mountain view, after that trail goes gentle trail one half-hour again steep climb down to ChangdiKhola. After ChangdiKhola trail flows East Side River to Maryongthang. Maryongthang is a great and beautiful place with a lovely Mountain View in north Tibet border. It starts the site of the YarsaGumba kingdom too.

Day 14: Trek to PungKharka via Yala Pass 5407m
Yala Pass 5407 is the high pass here; this is the border of Mugu and Dolpa too. In July and August, many people come here (Aryongthang and PungKharka valley) Yarsa collection. The trail is also called the YarsaGumba trail. The area is very wild and beautiful too.

Day 15: Trek to DaldongKhor
Today is a short and easy day. The trail goes to south direction from PungKharka. After 2.5-hour trail climb up to Camping site DaldongKhor.

Day 16: Trek to Phot via Daldong Peak
Today is another hard day; we climb to 5562m peak called Daldong Peak and down to first village after a week Phot village. You will have a fantastic mountain and landscape view, and surely all the people enjoy this day. Phot village is the very remote village, and people there believe, Nepal government was unknown about this place till 2048 BS. So, we can consider this village a recent discovery.

Day 17: Rest & Acclimatization
After a very hard long week, you need a bit rest and refresh, you will just relax, but you can also visit the monastery and village.

Day 18: Trek to Bhijer via Yambur 4815m
Today is also another long and hard day. In the beginning, climb down to ToraKhola and have to steeply climb up to Yambur pass 4815m and steep down to Bhijer village. You will have a beautiful mountain view from Yambur Pass, and you can see Mt. Dhaulagiri too from here, and Kanjirawa, Tibetainborder mountain, etc.

Day 19: Trek to Tra Village
Today is not a long day, but you have to climb up all the way. You can visit the old monastery, learn Tibetan culture, and enjoy the landscape.

Day 20: Trek to SheyGumba
Today is an easy day; you do not have to hike such a steep climb up and down. SheyGumba is one of the oldest, and in the Buddhist religion, it is very worth too. It is here on the mountain to call Cristal, and Buddhist people came here for Kora, known as KailashKora.

Day 21: Trek to Mendok HC via Mendok-La 5135m
Today we do the last 5000m above pass Mendok-la pass 5135m. One the way we visit the monastery wish, on a cliff. Most of the trail we use cristalKora trail. One the trail, we will cross where people make a stone house for the soul. Local People believe, if they make this small stone house, the whisking soul will get a home in heaven.

Day 22: Trek to Dovan Camp
Today is an easy day, the trail goes down to Jungle camp and after that trail is almost flat. We will camp our tent north side of SheyPhoksundo Lake beatch.

Day 23: Hike to Phoksundo View Point & trek to Rigmo
In the morning, we hike to the east side where we can see all the lake from there and back to camp, then continue to Rigmo village (She-Phoksundo), and we walk around the lake. Rigmo village is one of the beautiful communities in the form of Nepal deepest lake SheyPhoksundo.

Day 24: Trek to Chhekpa
The tail goes down, always flowing by PhoksundoKhola crossing Chhunuwar, Sinduwa, and Rechi. We will sometimes walk through a pine forest.

Day 25: Trek to Dunai
The trail goes continuous down crossing Santa, Kageni, and Sulighat. At Sulighat there is Shey-Phoksundo Check post. Dunai is the District headquarter of Dolpa District.

Day 26: Juphal Drive & Fly to Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Juphal and fly back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj.

Day 27: Free Day Kathmandu
Today is a free day; you can do souvenirs shopping, relax, etc. and in the evening, the company will offer you a welfare dinner.

Day 28: Flight home
Our Staff will drop to Airport by private transportation.
