Trip Information

Island Peak Climbing is one of the most famous in Nepal. It stands in the Everest Region, reaches a height of 6,189m and is popularly known as Island Peak, a name given to it by Eric Shipton's party in 1951, as the peak resembles an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. Later in 1983, the peak was given the Nepali name Imja Tse. The peak was first ascended in 1953 by a British team as part of their preparations for climbing Everest. Tenzing Norgay was one of the members of the first ascent team. The peak is actually part of the south ridge of Lhotse Shar and forms a semicircle of cliffs that rise to the north of Nuptse, Lhotse, Middle Peak and Lhotse Shar.

Climbing Island Peak Expeditions can either go by road to Jiri and then by trail to Solulukhumbu or fly to Lukla. A day's trek from Lukla takes you to the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Another day's trek reaches the town of Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest's base camp. The best idea from here is to continue to either Everest Base Camp or Kala Pattar, at 5545m, from where there is a famous view of Everest. Either trek is good for acclimatizing before the climb of Island Peak. One of very good trek for acclimatizing is to walk along the Gokyo valley, then to cross the Chola pass, visiting both Kala Pattar and Everest Base Camp, before moving on to Chukhung.

Climbing Island Peak about 5 hour trek reaches Base Camp at 5200m. The camp is in a small valley with Island Glacier on the right. From Base Camp we climb steeply up to High camp 5500m and set up a high camp. There is rocky trail at first part. You need to across a glacier and steep walk to the Island peak Ridge. We need fix rope about 150m summit ridge to the top about 200 m fix line then you reach on the top of Island Peak. Island Peak offers you great views of Lhotse wall, Makalu, cho oyu, Amadablam and more

Hello, Let’s take a quick trip to Tomorrow-land. I’m not talking about a theme park, I’m talking about your business’s future… Don’t worry, we won’t even need a crystal ball. Just imagine… … a future where the money you invest in driving traffic to your triphimalaya.com site pays off with tons of calls from qualified leads. And the difference between what you experienced in the past is staggering – you’re seeing 10X, 20X, 50X, even up to a 100X more leads coming from your triphimalaya.com website. Leads that are already engaged with what you have to offer and are ready to learn more and even open their wallets. Seeing all this taking place in your business, you think back: “What did I do only a short time ago that made such a huge difference?” And then it hits you: You took advantage of a free 14 day Test Drive of TalkWithCustomer. You installed TalkWithCustomer on your website – it was a snap. And practically overnight customers started engaging more regularly and calling your business. Like this: ”EMA has been looking for ways to reach out to an audience. TalkWithCustomer so far is the most direct call of action. It has produced above average closing ratios and we are thrilled. Thank you for providing a real and effective tool to generate REAL leads.” - Pat MontesDeOca Since you installed TalkWithCustomer it’s been great. It’s fun to dream, but this isn’t just a dream. It could be your very real tomorrow. All you have to do is CLICK HERE http://www.talkwithcustomer.com to sign up to try TalkWithCustomer today. Not tomorrow. Today. Because there’s no better time than now to make your business work the way you’ve always wanted. Sincerely, Eric PS: Remember, there’s absolutely NO risk to you – if you’re 100% satisfied after the 14 days pass, there’s no obligation. And even ONE more lead-turned-into-customer could be worth hundreds, even thousands to you over their lifetime. Don’t let the moment pass you by.
